Fail Forever (Broke One remix)
Formed by four childhood friends in Copenhagen, When Saints Go Machine has been creating music together since 2007. The manner in which they blend aching lyrics with an up-beat, dance-able indie-pop beat creates a contrast that allows frontman Nikolaj Manuel Vonsild to stand out as a unique, falsetto crooner. Here is a super unreleased remix by italian golden boy Broke One, one of the most interesting new artists in Europe, regularly selected by Andy & Jaymo as part of their program and dj sets at BBC Radio 1, he made is debut ep “Go Go Go” including remixes by Russ Chimes and many others.

Geeshie
The Mekons are getting ready for the release of their 26th record, Ancient & Modern, on September 27th as well as embarking on a special US tour kicking off at the end of this month. They’re taking their new (and old) songs on the road, and have divided up their shows, billed as “A quiet night in with the acoustic Mekons" or "A wild night out with the electrified Mekons". Earlier this summer, they released their first single “Space in Your Face” and now they are giving away an mp3 of their track “Geeshie.” It was inspired by a song from Geeshie Wiley titled “Last Kind Words,” introduced to guitarist Jon Langford on his radio show by Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy. You can check out the premiere hereunder.

99% Upset Feeling
It's been four years since Deerhoof posted one of their free web albums. In that time they've added guitarist Ed Rodriguez to the band, released two full-length LPs, and a slew of singles, compilations appearances and remixes, topped the college music charts, formed a new band with Konono No1, curated a Belgian music festival, and racked up one accolade after another in the music press. They have also toured the world relentlessly, which brings us to this web album. Many say that to experience Deerhoof on stage is to be instantly converted to their singular style. 99% Upset Feeling is arguably the first honest attempt to document the drama and intensity of their live show into a well-recorded package. 11 songs, 33 minutes of raw Deerhoof from their Deerhoof Vs. Evil tour. And our favorite foursome is giving these front-row tickets away for free. Just go to deerhoofvsevil.com. Here is a fantastic preview: Deerhoof vs. Ramones.
